[VIDEO & PHOTOS IN EXTENDED ARTICLE] The Westboro Baptist Church was scheduled to protest at the Mirrer Yeshiva around noon time on Monday, but cancelled their protest at the very last moment. Police barricades had already been set up, and police were on standby for the protest. Instead, when the hate group finished their protest at Yeshiva Bais Hatalmud in Bensonhurst, they chose to cancel the Ocean Avenue & Avenue R (Mirrer Yeshiva stop).
It is not known why they chose to cancel their protest, but BoroParkScoop.com says it may have to do with the fact that they got zero attention in Bensonhurst.
